Ten UAE-based artists and designers are joining forces with female Afghan master artisans for a new exhibition in Abu Dhabi that brings contemporary UAE art together with generations-old carpet-making traditions. Titled Intimaa: Sacred Threads, the exhibition will open at Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi on October 15 and run until January 9, 2027. TEHRAN — Iran’s foreign ministry on Monday denied any involvement in the war in Yemen, after the country’s Houthi rebels seized control of more territory. “Iran does not interfere in Yemeni affairs,” ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei told reporters, saying the Houthis are “entirely independent actors who make their decisions based on their own interests”.
