RIYADH — Coalition forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia toward Riyadh on Monday. This was revealed by Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen. Earlier on Monday, the Coalition said it was responding to a Houthi attack involving drones and cruise missiles. In a follow-up statement on the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on the afternoon of Sunday, October 11, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) reported that a Pakistani resident was killed and 11 others were injured. RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received on Monday a phone call from King Abdullah of Jordan. During the call, the King expressed Jordan’s condemnation of the terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia. King Abdullah affirmed Jordan’s full support for Saudi Arabia in confronting all threats to its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
