The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Friday signed a cooperation agreement via video conference to implement an orphan care project in the Syrian Arab Republic.
KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz signed the agreement.
Under the agreement, monthly financial support will go to orphans to meet their basic needs for food, housing, healthcare, and education. The project will also include recreational activities and the distribution of toys, school bags, and stationery, directly benefiting 1,000 orphans in the governorates of Deir ez-Zor, Homs, and Hama.
The initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief to support the Syrian people, care for orphans, alleviate their suffering, and provide the necessities for a decent life.
